Saturday. Well today is the garden party. We have invited pretty much everyone we know, the neighbours, family and friends.

An informal bring a bottle bash and Poppy’s 11th birthday all in one!

Sent out on a supply run Poppy and I paused for a birthday coffee and bacon butty, happy girl! Well there is always time for a coffee with my girl.

 

Back to the job in hand, enough ice to make to make an igloo carted in and more to come.

Bar set up in the garden, managed to convince Victoria that sorting out the music was both valid and important! Phew, she will clock in a minute that I am just playing…

…the house is rocking, the garden is swinging to the strains of jazz and the wine and beer are on ice. The neighbours would complain but they are here drinking!

A lovely day in the sun. Lots of laughs and lots of love, a real success and a lovely send off.

Midnight. House tidy. Kids settled. Now sitting down having a quiet drink with my brother, Tamsin and Sue and Steve.
